DAY ONE: DEPARTURE DAY
Arrival in Santa Barbara. Welcome Dinner at one of Santa Barbara's fine restaurants featuring
regional cuisine.

DAY TWO:
"Red Tile" guided walking tour of Historic Downtown Santa Barbara; shopping and strolling
along State Street; "Meet the Curator" and "behind-the-scenes" at the famed Santa Barbara
Museum of Art. Dinner at a local Santa Barbara restaurant.

DAY THREE:
Day trip to San Simeon where you will have your choice of one of three guided tours of
the Hearst Castle, designed by San Francisco architect Julia Morgan for publishing tycoon
William Randolph Hearst, and once the playground for the "rich and famous" during Hollywood's
Golden Age.

DAY FOUR:
Guided Tour of the Santa Barbara Mission and its spectacular Rose Garden, followed by scenic
touring of the backroads of the Santa Ynez Valley and the Santa Barbara Wine Country.
Touring, wine-tasting and dining included.

DAY FIVE:
Day Trip to the Danish village of Solvang, known for its replication of Danish architecture and
for its decorative arts and cuisine. Plenty of time for sampling of the Danish cuisine.

DAY SIX:
Sightseeing in Montecito, known for its upscale shops and art galleries. Guided tour of the
famed historic landmark Biltmore Hotel. Fine Dining at sunset overlooking the Pacific Ocean
in the fabulous Montecito Inn built by Charlie Chaplin.

DAY SEVEN: RETURN DAY
Free time in the morning for last-minute shopping or relaxing before departing for Home.
