The McFerrin Collection has become one of the world’s most important private collections of Fabergé. While many of the pieces in this collection have been
featured individually in other exhibitions and publications over the past 60 years, this event marks
the first time that the McFerrin Collection has been presented
for public display.

Highlights of the exhibition include personal gifts to the Tsar and Tsarina, the Empress Josephine's extravagant tiara, a magnificent "fire-screen" picture frame,
the famed
Nobel Ice Egg, and the blue enameled Wedding Clock purchased jointly by Tsar Nicholas II and the Empress Alexandra Feodorovna before their
marriage.

This extraordinary show, "Magic - The Science of Wonder" examines how science and magic are intertwined, tapping into our universal desire to know "How does that work?"   Presenting an array of artifacts connected with legendary performers of the past and present, the exhibition will also feature film and video clips of
famous magicians, as well as guest illusionists performing live. At the "University of Magic" inside the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to learn a magic
trick of their own.

Among the many intriguing artifacts to be featured are torches for fire eating; magic lanterns and automatons; Harry Houdini's trademark milk can and water
escape trunk; Harry Blackstone's "Zig Zag Girl" prop; Mike Caveney's linking coat hangers; and items from the acts of Doug Henning, Penn & Teller, and other
superstars of magic

Rienzi's collection consists of one of the finest collections of Worcester porcelain in the United States, a noteworthy collection of English and European paintings,
and an outstanding collection of English furniture.
Rienzi's gardens, designed by noted landscape architect Ralph Ellis Gunn, are an accomplished combination of
formal gardens and natural Texas woodlands.
